"God..."
On page 19, Inara brings up the French language and River says,
"Petit a petit, l'oiseu fait son nid..." This is French
for "Little by little, the bird makes its nest..." This is a
French idiom.
On page 20, Emma looks at a hologram of her parents and Mal in
the cockpit of Serenity and Zoe tells her the image was
taken right after some nasty business on Jiangyin. This is
probably a reference to the events of "Safe".
On page 21, Rasalia says, "Esperate!" This is Spanish for
"Wait!"
